Awww... Robbie just forwarded me this email from his clients who own the llama farm which we visited a couple months ago. It almost gives me tears in my eyes! How sweet of her to take the time to send it:
"It has taken me forever to get this to you. I apologize. You have
the most delightful, inquisitive, respectful, kind and thoughtful
children I have seen in a long time - my own grandchildren included.
One or two of mine might qualify, but not all four. They aren't bad
children by any means, but the respectful part is sometimes a little
lacking even though the parents try. I love them dearly, but
sometimes my grandchildren's inquisitiveness gets the better of them,
and they forget to ask. Maybe they take things for granted at
grandma's and grandpa's house. ( We are Seanachar and Seanavar to
them, Gaelic for grandmother and grandfather. When they were born
they had 3 of 4 Ggrandparents on our side and all 4 grandparents on
both sides. It left very few names to choose from. Also, Andrea's
father has been married 3+ times, 3 grandmothers with him alone
involved in Hayden and Charlotte's lives.
Thank you for taking the time on a brutal day to come out here with
them. We need to do it when the weather is much better. Almost any
day would qualify as better than what we had that day.
Seriously, regardless of age, your three are delightful. They are a
real pleasure to have around. I know very few children that earn or
deserve that respect, but yours do.
Please feel welcome to come back anytime. We are inviting you again,
so please let us know when it works for you. Our back yard isn't
very steep, but a flying saucer would go pretty well, it's a gentle
slope, and it's a safe place to slide. Keep it in mind. It is a
formal invitation.
Take care,
Nina"
