To elaborate on my last post, Leo just LOVES thinking that he's being sneaky, or doing something sly. He had a phase where he would always take things from around the house and stash them. We found he was hoarding two plastic grocery bags full of items under our basement steps! He would go get things and then scoot over and surreptitiously stash them by pushing them through opening that could be made by pushing through a carpet piece that hung down. We found all sorts of toy pieces and things believed to be missing, including the TV remote!! He also likes to take socks from my sorting pile and slip them in a crack on the base of my treadmill.
He also just loves it if someone leaves the baby gate at the bottom of the stairs open. He will go sit and wait on the bottom stair and when he sees that someone is noticing, he'll laugh and start to scramble up the stairs.
A favorite game with him is to pretend that you don't notice while he grabs something from your table place. If you feign shock and surprise and demand your item back, he will laugh hysterically, it is SO funny to him! His latest tricks are to walk backwards away from you (until he bumps into a wall), and steal beer bottles and milk jugs out of the recycling bin.
He is quite a character, that sneaky Leo, and it is all the more funny becuase he is so QUIET. He is the silent type but he is always busy, busy busy on the sly!! :)
