The Pilgrims and the canoli

I forgot this little gem... at Thanksgiving, my mom came laughing up to me to tell me about a conversation she had with Jimmy about the canoli times.  The what? I asked. " Jimmy was telling me all about the Pilgrims and native Americans back in the " canoli - al" times."   Evidently he was having trouble pronoucing colonial !! Hee Hee Hee!
